Kigoma Urban ACTWazalendo parliamentary candidate, Mr Zitto Kabwe, has appealed to voters not to elect aspirants propagating tribalism and religious inclinations.
He made the appeal here yesterday when addressing a well-attended campaign rally at Katubuka Ward. He said politicians were politically bankrupt that is why they use religion and tribalism to win voters.
âWe should not advocate such issues which are meant to divide us on religious and tribal grounds. Letâs remain united,â he said. He advised voters to be keen with such politicians as they might plunge the country into chaos.
He promised to empower Kigoma residents with soft loans to start their business once he is elected as their Member of Parliament. âIf you start women groups and raise, letâs say 2m/-, Iâll double that amount so that you can be in a better position to acquire loans from constituency fund,â he said.
